The retinal specialist

It's a week for good news! I just got back from seeing the retinal
specialist and he said that while my retinas are thinning, I do not
have the type of degeneration that causes blindness! Yeah! I'm
probably not going blind!

We found this new Elmo towel to use after swimming. She LOVES it!

I have a job!

I got a call today from Lehigh Valley Academy offering me a part-time math/physics position!  Hip-hip-HOORAY!

Today mommy gave me markers to make you a birthday card. But I
didn't have any paper. So I had to use some baby ingenuity. Mommy
is still trying to find a suitable envelope to mail it to you!

Sorry! I have been busy! I am getting ready for 3 job interviews
next week. FINALLY!

This should be interesting. Monday I have an interview with a hip cool creativity fostering charter school to teach math and physics part-time. Tuesday I go to a traditional high school for a long-term substitute Biology position. And Wednesday I go to a virtual school interview. The interview isn't virtual, the school is!

At the Park with Ella!

Yesterday we met Ella at the park. It was steamy! Ella and Abby found some cars that someone left at the park.

We took Abby to the shoe store to have her feet measured today. She was wearing size 5 shoes and they measured her foot a 5.5! We got her a new pair, size 6. They look HUGE! I guess she gets her big feet from me!

This morning when I woke up, before I opened my eyes, I could hear Abby saying, "necklace. pretty. money!" She was in my nightstand, wearing three necklaces and a belt with a fistfull of quarters.

Dalai Lama

Today I was able to go see the Dalai Lama's public lecture! It was
great and mom had fun watching Abby while I was away.

Our neighbors donated a bunch of their toys to Abigail today. Here she is pushing her new doll, Joanna, in a stroller.

Today it was raining but Abby wanted to go outside. I opened the door to show her that it was wet out on the porch and she darted out. She was happy to play in the rain! I should have known better. She loves all water!
