Baseball practice

Out for dinner

Nice Pool!

Abby and Hal have been having lots of fun in the water! The boys had
chicken fights with Hal and Hank. Abby was swimming around the pool
by herself with a noodle.

Welcome to Florida!

Florida's great! You can wear shorts and sun hats and eat Italian
Ice with your cousins!

Daddy daycare

Hal watched Abby Wednesday and she didn't want to take her nightgown
off when he dressed her. She wore it to the post office and to the
store!

Who can wear the most hats day!

Call the locksmith

Abby's new favorite pass time is "unlocking the door" She has a
little puzzle that looks like the keys that unlock the doors in our
house. She has spent hours trying to unlock the doors. She's
patient and determined!

Like a dinosaur

Abby likes to ride Hal's back. She says, "I'm like a dinosaur!" ???

Computer Skills

Abby's of the digital generation, so she has started practicing her computer skills. (Papa notice how she has started stacking her books on the couch!)

AFter the braids

This is how Abby's hair looked when she went to Jill's on Tuesday.
(Frizzy from sleeping on french braids.)

Miscommunication

This morning Abby woke up saying, "I'm afraid I'll probably die." At
least that is what I thought she was saying. After a few rounds of
questioning I figured out she was really saying, "I'm afraid of puppy
Jade." The new puppy at Jill's house. Whew! Why would she be
fearing death already? We are going to try going to church this
morning.

Daycare fundraiser

Abby's daycare is having a fundraiser to raise money for a swing set for the play area. It is a small in-home daycare, not a big center so we would really benefit from the sales. They are selling healthy pasta from The Pasta Shoppe. If anyone would like to help us out our code is TTFD. The specific information is below. Thanks!

Hello Everyone!
This year again, we are selling the fabulous pasta from the Pasta Shoppe!! These pasta's are all natural, made from the finest ingredients and are wholesome, healthy and delicious!! We are raising funds to purchase a swing set for the play area. Please take a moment to click on the link below and see what the Pasta Shoppe has to offer and show your support for Jill's Childcare!! Our group code is TTFD, you will need to enter it at the check out, so we get credit for the sale.

Thank You!
Jill and the kids

Itsy bitsy spider with french braids

Abby was tired enough tonight after her bath that I was able to braid
her hair. I wish she would sit still for me more often! I am a fast
braider but she is so wiggly! This is the best I could do.

Went to school and other stuff

I forgot to turn some stuff in so I took Abby back to school with me
this afternoon. She likes to see the other math teacher, Randi. The
administrative assistant heard Abby talking while I was making copies
and she said, "You have a little adult over there!" That's no joke!
Randi let Abby have some PEZ candy and a Mickey Mouse dispenser.
Thank you Randi. What does PEZ taste like? "Like candy," according
to Abby. She saw a student eating donuts and she said, "No donuts.
They make da tummy ache."

Speaking of tummy ache. Last night Abby was puking. Burger King
claims their grilled chicken has no milk in it but I beg to differ.
Thank God for Benedryl.

We are making good progress with potty training. She is asking to go
use the potty! HOORAY!

Prima Ballerina

Abby was listening to music and asked to wear a dress so I got her
tutu out. Then she put her pearls on, picked up her pumpkin, and
said, "See you later. I'm goin' to do store. I love you be careful!"

What hair you have!

She is getting better about letting me do her hair in the morning.
Look how long it is getting!

It's freezin'!

We have been trying to save energy by turning the heat down at night
and then turning it up again when I get home from school. This
morning Abby woke up early so I bundled her up in her little chair
while I made her breakfast. She has 2 blankets on and is 100%
focused on Elmo!
